Covenant Transport, Inc. (CVTI), is a values-based, publicly-traded truckload carrier with headquarters in the Scenic City of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Covenant Transport, Inc. is a group of transportation providers that offer premium transportation services for customers throughout the United States and multiple choices for drivers.
The group operates over 3,600 tractors and 9,500 trailers. Driver Requirements:
- Student Drivers must have graduated from a qualified truck driving school (minimum 120 hour curriculum) within the last 12 months.
- Student Drivers must attain their HazMat Endorsement within 6 months of their hire date.
- Experienced Solo Drivers must have 6 months verifiable interstate tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months.
- Experienced Solo Drivers MUST have their HazMat Endorsement.
- Experienced Team Drivers must have 6 months verifiable interstate tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months.
- Experienced Team Drivers MUST have their HazMat Endorsement.
- Drivers MUST be able to pass Covenant Transport's physical aptitude test.
- No current parole or warrant for arrest.

Covenant provides:
- Base plates & permits.
- Excess fuel tax. We pay and report excess. O/O must use Covenant ComData card on fuel to validate service.
- Free tractor wash at all manned terminals.
- Free Qualcomm installation & $17/wk. rental fee.
- Liability insurance as long as trailers is connected to truck.
- Load and unload pay - $80/load
- Multi-stop pay - $50/stop
- Orientation expenses, lodging, and three meals per day at orientation are furnished. Travel to orientation in CMV is reimbursed at $.50/cpm
- Reimbursement for tolls and loaded scale tickets with receipts for tolls and tickets.
- Advances of up to $.75/cpm once loaded for total miles per trip loaded onto ComData card. Anything extra must be approved by driver's FM.
Owner Operator: Certified Hazmat Team $1.00pm + FSC Company Driver : Solo $50.00 per placecarded load. Teams additional 2CPM (split) for all miles and another 3CPM (split) for placeloaded load. Both team drivers must have Hazmat to qualify.
Available at Covenant: Bobtail insurance. $28 per million. Occupational Accident insurance. $134.38 per driver per month. Owners are required to carry this insurance. Health insurance. Available through U.T.B.A. after a 30-day waiting period. Have the drivers call the company for info. 877-472-5541.
Physical damage insurance. .268% of actual cash value of truck plus $18/mo. This insurance is a requirement.
Settlements paid every Friday as long as bills are in Chatt. Office by 5:00 PM Monday.
Travel to orientation in CMV is reimbursed at $.50/cpm. Lodging and 3 meals per day are furnished by Covenant.
