The Missouri Department of Transportation is alerting truck drivers about some upcoming repairs at the Mineola truck parking facility in Montgomery County in mid-May.

According to a MoDOT release, crews will begin concrete repair work on Wednesday, May 16, at the eastbound Mineola truck parking facility, located at mile marker 168, on Interstate 70. Work is expected to be completed on May 17.

Truckers will be unable to park at the site from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while repairs are being made.

MoDOT says it will have message boards set up along I-70, reminding truck drivers of the closure.

Truck parking will be available 32 miles east of Mineola at mile marker 198, and at commercial truck stops at Kingdom City, located at mile marker 148.
