Minneapolis, MN, March 7, 2006 Koch Companies is proud to announce that it has been awarded second place in division five for the 2005 Fleet Safety Awards from the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA). There are six divisions in this competition; they go according to the annual miles run by a fleet per year. The criteria are stiff to get into this competition in the first place, so taking a second in our division is a major accomplishment.
And Koch Companies is still in the running for the National Fleet Safety Award to be announced at the TCA annual conference in Orlando in March. Whether or not we win the national award, our driving staff and all who support them are to be congratulated on our divisional award.
Most trucking and logistics companies that haul truckload cargo belong to the TCA. Only the top safe carriers are eligible to compete for these awards. We competed and took second place in our division, so that is an honor in itself. Now we`re ready to compete with eight other carriers for the National Award.
