Trucker Buddy promotes safety on Midnght Trucking Radio Network
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Waupaca, WI: Each week, professional drivers share safety messages with their Trucker Buddy classes. They send postcards and letters that teach the children how to share the road with 18 wheelers!
Now, other drivers can hear a daily safety message from Trucker Buddy International, thanks to The Midnight Trucking Radio Network`s http://www.midnighttrucking.com "Safety Minute."
Each night, drivers will learn how to avoid road rage, how to keep their brakes safe, and how to maintain their tires for optimal safety on the road. Ellen Voie, Trucker Buddy`s Executive Director, has gathered short points from folks in the industry who are experts in their fields.
"We are so happy to give Trucker Buddy this opportunity to bring the program to a new level of influence," said Mindy Baker, Midnight Trucking`s Director of Marketing. "We`ve always supported the program on our show, and we appreciate all of the Trucker Buddy drivers who call us to tell us about their classes," Baker added.
"Driving safely while in a truck is a priority for everyone, but we believe that Trucker Buddy drivers are some of the safest drivers on the road," said Voie, "they have told me that they are more cautious and courteous because they are looking out for kids who might be in a class that has a Trucker Buddy! We are really excited to be able to promote our program and safety at the same time on the Midnight Trucking Radio Network," Voie added.
You can hear these announcements nightly (12:0-5:00 am CST) on 50,000 watt signals and Sirius Channel 147 during the Midnight Trucking Radio Network. For more information about Trucker Buddy, visit www.truckerbuddy.org or call 800-MY BUDDY.
